Hamble Heights was delighted to attend the Sarisbury Green "Show On The Green" Fun Day, where we had a fantastic opportunity to connect with members of the local community.
Throughout the event, we spoke with many people who were interested in learning more about the care and support services available at Hamble Heights.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting so many individuals who had family members or relatives who had previously stayed at Hamble Heights. Hearing their positive memories and experiences was incredibly rewarding and reinforced the strong relationships we have built within the community over the years.
The event provided excellent community engagement, allowing us to strengthen existing connections while creating new ones. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to chat with us and the organisers of the Sarisbury Green Show On The Green for hosting such a successful and enjoyable event.
We look forward to continuing to support and engage with our local community and hope to see everyone again next year.

Today, Hamble Heights made it all the way to Big Ben on our virtual bike ride for Alzheimer's Society. It was great fun for an even better cause, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part.

We rounded off the day with a fantastic garden party featuring Aled and Nathan. The residents loved singing and dancing along, and it was the perfect way to celebrate reaching our latest milestone on the journey.

A huge shout-out to Aled and Nathan for always being so fantastic and bringing so much energy, fun, and enjoyment to our events. Thank you both for helping make the day so special!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way as we continue raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society. 🚴‍♀️🎶🎉

The residents enjoyed taking part in a gardening activity in the care home garden. Together, we planted new flowers and plants in our boat planter, which has become a colourful feature of the garden.
Gardening encourages teamwork, creativity, and wellbeing, and the residents were delighted to see the boat filled with beautiful new plants that will continue to grow and brighten the outdoor space.

What people say about us

The warmth and friendliness of all staff members is lovely for both the residents and their visiting families. Staff are always informative, patient and also genuinely kind-hearted. The carers go above and beyond and treat all residents with dignity and affection. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, providing a sense of relaxation.

Becki S. Daughter of resident

A short respite stay, enjoyable in every way, with good food, lovely staff, and friendly caring people.

Priscilla A, Respite Resident

Everything is 10/10. The staff are very, very friendly and helpful as well as being creative.

David M, Resident

I feel that the best leadership is in an environment, where the staff know what to do at all times and use their initiative in an appropriate manner. The staff here demonstrated that the leadership and training were excellent. I cannot fault the staff at this home in any way and would recommend this home to anyone.

Daniel L, Friend of Resident

We have always felt that Dad was in the best place receiving love, care and attention at all times even under very difficult circumstances which gave the family peace of mind. Thank you all very much.

David M, Son of Resident

From the moment Mum entered Hamble Heights she was treated with the utmost love, care and respect from every member of staff. Although she was bedridden she received every care and attention and was exceedingly happy there.

W G, Son of Resident

My Mother has been a resident at Hamble Heights for 17 months. We chose the home as it’s near the family and is purpose built. However, the most important reasons are the wonderful care staff and nurses and the excellent food. My Mother tells me that there is always an alternative dish served if you would rather have this. The activities organiser is great and very innovative. They gave my Mum a fabulous 100th birthday party.

Jill M, Daughter of Resident

The home and staff have been amazing. To begin with dad was able to participate in activities that they put on which was brilliant. Dad has advanced dementia and is now bed bound and unable to communicate at all but he is always clean shaven, nails clipped and in bed with appropriate pillows etc. the nurses and carers have always been kind and I thank them every week that they take such good care of Dad.

Sally B, Daughter of Resident

What can I say. Absolutely excellent home and the most caring team of staff that I have ever had the pleasure to know. This home is outstanding and staff always go the extra mile to ensure that residents and their families are made to feel welcome and included.
