Q: How will you help me settle in?

We know that many of our residents are concerned about how they will settle in, so our caring team will ensure that they are given the warmest of welcomes. From the moment a resident arrives, our dedicated team provides personalised support to make the transition as smooth as possible.

On the first day we give the resident and their family a thorough orientation of the home and its facilities. To create a sense of familiarity, we encourage residents to bring personal items and furnishings to decorate their rooms. We take the time to learn about each resident’s preferences and hobbies, incorporating these into their daily routine to ensure they feel comfortable and at home.

If they feel like socialising we will introduce them to other residents as soon as possible via social activities and events. They will always be warmly welcomed into the Hamble Heights family.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

We can accommodate pets in some cases, please do discuss this further with our Home Manager.

Q: What is the food like?

Our chef provides residents with high-quality, home-cooked meals. Seasonal ingredients are sourced locally, and the menu is varied and delicious. We cater to individual preferences and dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free diets.

We provide a variety of meals from the traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding through to lighter options such as soups and salads.
